Current and local GE Volunteers chose Junior Achievement (JA) Brazil as the recipient of a $10,000 contribution which was tied to internal leadership and team recognition. JA is one of the world's largest education organizations that reach more than 10 million students per year in 120 countries worldwide.
JA was chosen as the recipient for this donation as they educate young people in the fields of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship - concepts that are pillars in our business. The Current team in San Paolo, Brazil is proud to make this contribution to JA as they will be directly supporting the development of a new generation and helping them into the entry to their career through the JA Assembling Career program.
GE volunteers will be running activities this fall and will share their time, values, principles, and knowledge to help the youth’s advancement in STEM careers.
